End of Summer???

SHADY HOLLOW - LABOR DAY WEEKEND

What a difference a day makes, yep, just a day!!! We dropped 30 degrees in one day!!! Hold that pose one second, I yelled, let me get my camera!!! No one would ever believe people were trying on winter coats in 90 degree weather, had to capture that on film!! This is one of my customers trying on a, well, somewhat of a winter coat in 90 degree heat!!! I bet she wished she had it these past few days!! Although they tell us fall really isn't here, it sure feels like it!!

Labor Day Weekend at Shady Hollow was, well, HOT and WINDY, and not uneventful!! But, we conquered and endeared all through all of that! I want to personally thank you all for coming out in the heat and wind!! And, having a BBQ or hotdog to go along with that on Monday!! We have one more Sunday to go top off the season, and it sounds like a cool one, but no need to worry!! I think I have plenty of coats for everyone!!!

No need to worry about being "dog tired", as I found this stroller full!!! I could only capture a couple, but there were more dogs than kids in this load! Very cute!!! I would have liked to crawl in with them, if only they had air conditioning!!!

Much to our surprise, the "silent partner" was also out roaming about. Yes, it was her, the one and only Karen Jones!! It's always such a treat to visit with her! I know her schedule is busy, but I was able to make her sit down for one quick photo before she got away!! Kind of like a fish story isn't it, but at least I have some proof this time, right Karen!! Make sure you give Karen a call and tell her you saw her on the Internet!!

Lots of vendors this three day weekend, here are some of the things you missed!!!

Duane and Sue have awesome glassware!

Kathy always has great jewelry to choose from!

Our vendor picnic once again was a great success!! Thanks to everyone for staying late, bringing such great food and to Dave J. for being a great griller in that heat!! Al and Diane might have to plant a little more corn next year just to feed us all!! I think we'd all agree we can't wait to do it again!!
